DIVORCE | FAMILY LAW


For the last fourteen years, Mrs. Luhn has practiced exclusively family law, including divorce and post-divorce litigation, child custody, child support, paternity cases, etc. She is a Rule 31 Listed Family Mediator and a regular instructor for Continuing Legal Education seminars teaching various family law topics.

Mrs. Luhn was voted by her peers as a “Top Attorney” in Knoxville’s Cityview Magazine for Family Law/Divorce in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.  

She earned her J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (2005), where she was the recipient of the Charles Miller Excellence in Advocacy Award, a recipient of the Dean's Citation for Extraordinary Contribution to the College of Law, and a founding member and deputy editor of the Tennessee Journal of Law and Policy. 

Mrs. Luhn graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee in 2000, receiving the Top Graduate Award for the College of Business Administration.  

She serves as a Board Member for the nonprofit organization, Harmony Family Center, as well as a Board Member for the Whittington Creek Swim Team.

She is regularly featured on and appearing as a “Legal Analyst” for various Oxygen Network television shows, including Fatal Attraction, Killer Couples, and Snapped.

She works with her husband, David H. Luhn (an estate planning and business attorney), even sharing adjoining offices. They have four children—ages 9, 8, 6, and 5. She is an active member of the PTO and a regular volunteer at her children’s elementary school, Girl Scouts Troop Leader, and volunteer basketball coach for her daughter’s basketball team. Most recently, she has ventured into the world of competitive triathlons and completed the Half Ironman in October 2017 and numerous “century” bike races, including The Cherohala Challenge and various Gran Fondo “century” races in Tennessee and the surrounding states.
